This 4-color workshop offers an alternative for printmakers who want to create full color intaglio prints and for those photographers who enjoy experimenting with different techniques.

The workshop is designed to give students the ability to create images using 4 color processes on photopolymer plates. Computer generated originals are printed out on separate transparencies, registered, and printed in sequence to produce a full tonal range of tones and colors. Individual should have a basic knowledge of Photoshop. The course will prepare students in color separation and registration techniques. Experimenting with this process will be encouraged. The process also uses Akua water-based intaglio inks.
