Monoprints are probably the simplest forms of printmaking. Together both processes can be combined and built up layer by layer to create an even more interesting work of art! Participants will explore in-depth, different methods of creating Monoprints using Akua water-based inks.

The Monoprint: Mono - meaning a "one of" print. A unique image is achieved by taking a flat matrix of Plexiglas and painting directly onto the plate using Akua water based inks and then drawing, marking, or by using stencils and found articles such as leaves, to create beautiful realist or more abstract images instantly.
